How Long Does It Take to Build a Custom Patio Cover?
Most custom patio cover builds take a few weeks from the start of construction, depending on size, roofline complexity, and any add-ons like an outdoor kitchen or fireplace. Texas Patio Pros gives you a build timeline up front as part of your free in-home estimate.
What Materials Do Custom Patio Builders Use in Cypress, TX?
Patio covers are typically built in wood, aluminum, or a combination of both, with flooring options including stamped concrete, pavers, or stained concrete. We help you choose materials that hold up to Houston’s heat and humidity without excessive upkeep.
Do Custom Patio Builders in Cypress Need a Permit or HOA Approval?
Most Cypress-area HOAs require architectural approval before construction begins on a patio cover, pergola, or outdoor structure. Texas Patio Pros prepares the drawings and handles the HOA and permitting paperwork as part of the build. See our full breakdown of what the HOA approval process involves.
Custom Patio Builder — Texas Patio Pros
Owned and operated by Chris Salazar, Texas Patio Pros has built custom patios, patio covers, and outdoor living spaces for Cypress, TX and the greater Houston area since 2016. As your custom patio builder, we handle everything in-house — design, materials, HOA approval, and construction — so there’s one team accountable from the first sketch to the final walkthrough.
What Makes a Luxury Patio Build Different
A luxury patio build goes beyond a basic cover — it’s a full outdoor living space designed and built as one project. As a luxury patio builder, Texas Patio Pros combines:
- Outdoor kitchens and outdoor fireplaces built into the patio layout
- Stamped concrete or paver flooring instead of standard slab
- Pergola or free-standing addition options for multi-area yards
- A single build team handling design, materials, and construction
Every build starts with a free in-home consultation so you get a plan and price before committing.
